Harvesting and Logging Systems
Not all farms and forests are the same. That's why we offer various harvesting options to suit your terrain and the location of your woodlot. From haulers for steep difficult areas to skidders and bulldozers for easier country, we will utilise the most effective means of harvesting your trees.
Roading
Pan Pac realise the cost implications involved in roading and we offer financial support in this area. We can pay the costs of roading up front and when we have finished, deduct them from your final royalty, or we can include them in your stumpage quotation.
Maximising Your Returns
At Pan Pac, we are aware of your aim to gain the maximum benefit from your forest or woodlot. That's why we offer a very competitive pricing structure. We will recover optimum value through utilising specialist logmakers who evaluate the felled trees and cut them into log grades that will maximise your earning potential. By dealing with Pan Pac, you also have the security of knowing that once we have completed your harvesting, you will receive your payment.

The Environment

Pan Pac's forests are FSC certified, Pan Pac is a signatory to the NZ Forest Accord and the Principles for Commercial Plantation Forest Management in New Zealand, and monitors its environmental impact voluntarily. The company's environmental rules and guidelines meet the requirements of the Resource Management Act and applicable local authority rules.
