Tony Clifford
Managing Director
Tony was appointed Managing Director of Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd in February 2020 and has been a member of the executive management group since 2005. Initially employed as an electrical engineer, Tony has held technical and managerial roles within the company. He was General Manager Pulp for seven years and oversaw the $70m upgrade of the Pulpmill and development of markets for BCTMP into Asia and beyond.
Josh Hanayama
Deputy Managing Director
Josh was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd in October 2023. Josh joined Oji Holdings Corporation (former Oji Paper Co., Ltd.) in 1991 and mainly worked in the Forestry department, planning and managing the overseas plantation forest projects. Josh worked in eucalyptus plantation companies in New Zealand and Australia including Southland Plantation Forest Company of NZ Ltd. in Invercargill.
Tim Sandall
General Manager Forests
Tim leads a team focused on ensuring the safety and well being of all involved in Forests operations. Prior to this, Tim was Strategic Planning Manager, helping to develop and maintain a consistent strategic focus for the business and our shareholders, allowing business and profit growth. Tim also spent six years as the Deputy GM – Forests and has been involved in most forestry based functions at some point.
Michael Reaburn
General Manager Lumber
Michael joined Pan Pac in 2007 having previously held senior roles in manufacturing in the wood sector and other industries. He is responsible for lumber production, sales and marketing, supply chain and has recently provided leadership to the acquisition of a subsidiary company providing additional sawmill and drymill capacity in the South Island of New Zealand.
Roger Jones
General Manager Pulp
Roger was appointed General Manager Pulp in February 2020. He is responsible for pulp production and sales and effluent management. Prior to this, Roger worked in technical and management roles, including 10 years as Pulpmill Manager. In 2012, he managed the transition of the Pulpmill from contract TMP production to market a BCTMP facility. He leads an experienced team committed to the manufacture of quality BCTMP.
Olwen Hyslop
General Manager People & Culture
Olwen joined Pan Pac in 2011 having previously held senior HR roles in the banking, health, insurance and energy sectors. She has a wealth of expertise in people and culture development and is involved in the ongoing initiative to make Pan Pac an employer of choice.
Olwen leads a team responsible for Safety and Security, Environment, Human Resources, Employment Relations, Communications and Administration Services.
Ross McMillan
Chief Financial Officer
Ross joined the company in 2016 with broad financial and commercial experience in the dairy, FMCG and manufacturing industries including working in senior finance roles at Fonterra and Coca Cola Amatil. Ross leads the Finance and IT services at Pan Pac.
Dennis Hall
Company Secretary
Dennis joined the company in 1993 with broad financial and commercial experience in the FMCG sector including working in senior finance roles at J Wattie Foods. Dennis looks after legal matters, insurance matters, M&A processes, leasing arrangements and governance services at Pan Pac.
